Founding Editor
Rainer Schulte
Dr. Rainer Schulte is the director of the Center for Translation Studies and Katherine R. Cecil Professor for Foreign Languages at The University of Texas at Dallas. In 1978, he co-founded the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) and oversaw the annual conferences of ALTA until 2014. Professor Schulte is a specialist in comparative literature, in contemporary international literature, in translation studies, in the practice and theory of literary translation, and in interdisciplinary studies in the arts and humanities.
Managing Editor
Shelby Vincent
In addition to being Managing Editor for Translation Review, Dr. Shelby Vincent is Associate Director of the Center for Translation Studies and an adjunct lecturer in the Harry W. Bass Jr. School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology at UT Dallas where she teaches undergraduate translation workshops.
Book Review Editor
Gregary Racz
In addition to being Book Review Editor for Translation Review, Dr. Gregary Racz is associate professor of Foreign Languages and Literature at Long Island University (LIU), Brooklyn, specializing in translation studies, literary theory, comparative literature, and poetics.
